Singapore, 21 June 2021 – The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 kicks off today as a fully virtual event from 21 June to 2 July. Headlining the event is SIWW2021 Spotlight – a one-day summit that brings water leaders together to discuss and exchange ideas on innovating for a sustainable water future, followed by a power-packed SIWW2021 Online – a two-week long virtual showcase with emphasis on innovation and solutions spanning the urban water cycle, for business leaders, experts and practitioners to connect, share and learn from one another.
Call for Proposals to test NB-IoT-enabled Smart Water Meters
Singapore, 25 June 2021 – National Water Agency PUB has issued a Call-for-Proposals (CFP) today to develop and test smart water meters which operate on the Narrowband Internet-of-Things (NB-IoT) wireless communications technology. This call is part of broader efforts between PUB and the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (comprising Smart Nation and Digital Government Office and Government Technology Agency) to leverage the latest wireless communications technology to harness sensor data.

Singapore, 29 Jun 2021 – National Water Agency PUB has launched its second edition of the Global Innovation Challenge (GIC), inviting companies and researchers around the world to co-create innovative water solutions that can improve its operational excellence and meet future water needs. This Challenge is part of PUB's efforts to accelerate discovery and adoption of digital solutions and technologies to transform into a Smart Utility of the Future.
