An Environmental Engineer by training, Helge leads the water practice at Emerald Technology Ventures, a globally recognized Cleantech Investor with a twenty-year investment history. Part of this history has been a unique traction in the water space including successful exits from companies like Pure Technologies and Optimatics to major industry players (SUEZ, XYLEM and BASF). In 2020, Emerald closed its first dedicated global water fund, a USD 100M in size with commitments from Temasek, SKion Water, Ecolab and Microsoft.

In addition, Helge is also a co-founder and Managing Director of ripple2wave incubator, an entity dedicated to supporting seed stage water tech companies in Singapore.
