Neelima started ‘sah-krta’ Foundation (SKF), a trust with a vision to alleviate poverty and develop resilient communities through education, health care, water and sanitation, and livelihood. She is also Senior Advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she supports their portfolio in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Neelima has two decades of experience in building partnerships, social enterprises, and livelihood generation, instituting development funds, promoting financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and policymaking.

She graduated from the Andhra University with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a major in Public Health. She has an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Wharton School and Kellogg School of Management.
