Stephanie Erwin is a landscape architect and urban designer at KuiperCompagnons. She enjoys the challenge of working with urban complexities and strives for bold designs that respond to social, cultural, and environmental contexts. She is passionate about climate adaptation in public spaces and making cities more sustainable. Last year Stephanie, together with Amsterdam University of Applied Science, developed the CoolKit, a heat stress toolkit for designers of public space. She is also currently working on multiple municipal environmental visions, where she researches spatial structures and provides perspective on climate adaptation, urbanization, and the design of public space.
