Mr Rohilla has over 25 years experience and holds a doctorate degree from Queen’s University Belfast, UK.

He is currently associated with the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) - a New Delhi based global think tank as Senior Director - Water Programme. He is also the Academic Director at the School of Water and Waste ( a unit of CSE). His current research interests are mainstreaming water sensitive urban design and planning , promoting nature based solution - green infrastructure for making cities water resilient in wake of climate change , urban groundwater management , citywide inclusive water - sanitation including septage management in developing world cities .
