Pat McCafferty

Managing Director, Yarra Valley Water

Pat is Managing Director of Yarra Valley Water, one of Australia’s largest water utilities. With an extensive career in the water sector, Pat has been actively involved in addressing the critical challenges of climate change and rapid population growth. He also has experience working in the USA water sector and advising the Australian Government as part of the National Water Initiative.

Pat is a Board member of WaterAid Australia, Chair of the Thriving Communities Partnership (a cross-sector collaboration to support the vulnerable) and past Chair of the Water Services Association of Australia.

He is on the Leadership Oversight Committee for the Victorian Government’s Women in Water Program and is a member of the Committee for Melbourne’s Infrastructure and Sustainability Standing Committee. Pat is a signatory to the UN Global Compact and a passionate advocate of the Sustainable Development Goals.
