Dr Ami Preis

Dr. Preis is a co-founder of Visenti (aquired by Xylem in 2016) and Executive Director of Engineering. In his role, he works closely with pipe network operators and manages the timely deployment and integration of Visenti’s products. He oversees Visenti’s supply chain, engineering operations, and leads the effort with regards to the development and implementation of Visenti’s cutting edge on-line hydraulic analysis, simulation and optimisation tools.

Ami holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Prior to co-founding Visenti, he worked as a research scientist at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) where he developed Smart Water Network technologies, which were subsequently deployed to and integrated into Singapore’s water supply system.
