Biography
Maryam Farhanah is a process engineer with Mott MacDonald Bentley based in Wales, UK. She is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Committee Member of IChemE South Wales Branch and is an Industrial Advisory Board Member at Swansea University for Chemical Engineering.
Maryam has nine years’ experience in Water, Wastewater and Industrial wastewater treatment, working with various local UK utility companies and industrial clients and has also worked on international projects. Her areas of expertise include R&D of prototypes, aeration design and standard oxygen transfer testing, service reservoir resilience and undertaking feasibility and detail design in wastewater treatment. Her current areas of interest include emerging technologies in Phosphorous removal and asset optimisation in Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTPs).
