Optimising water efficiency is essential but complex, balancing water usage reduction, discharge limits, energy consumption, initial investment costs, and ongoing operational expenses. The challenge is compounded by the industrial market's expectation for a quick return on investment, typically within three years, during which such expenditures are still viewed as costs rather than investments.

De-risking Technology Adoption Process

This session will enable technology end-users and technology developers/vendors to gain insights into how the process of trialling, adopting, and rolling out new methods or technologies across a business can be de-risked. The risk reduction can be achieved by utilizing best practices in the articulation of the business case, the technical capabilities, and the unique value proposition. Part of this de-risking comes from understanding how to make projects bankable for leveraging external investment. The target audience is technology seekers and vendors in the water industry and adjacent sectors where water use and wastewater management or treatment must be addressed.
