Concept

A full-day technology pitching session designed to connect start-ups and innovators with municipal end-users to accelerate the adoption and commercialisation of new water technologies.

TechXchange will feature 33 global start-ups grouped into 5 categories:

Format

A series of pitching sessions (organized by themes) to a panel of senior water utility leaders (CEOs/COOs/ CTOs). Panel will provide feedback on the applicability of the technology to their utility operations. Concurrently, utility and technology leaders present in audience will be invited to provide anonymous scoring on the technology being presented. Their score will be flashed on a screen, after the panel has provided their verbal feedback.

What is different from other pitching sessions?

  • Pitching to end-users rather than to VCs or technology specialists
  • Immediate feedback from end-users in the panel
  • Scoring feedback from end-users in the audience
